I was currently lucky enough to see the Tinker Bell Movie at a Disney World Sneak Peak and it was fantastic. This movie is a throw back of a Disney movie from the 90s. The animation is detailed and absolutely beautiful. The graphics, story, and color were mesmerizing. Again, the visuals far exceed previous Disney films such as Chicken Little and Meet the Robinsons. The Tinker Bell movie did an amazing job outclassing other movies recently released by Disney. The score has an Irish feel, but it is enchanting and sweet, and does an excellent job of creating the mood of the movie. The Tinker Bell movie is one that can be enjoyed by everyone and is safe for the entire family.
Now a little bit of info about the Tinker Bell DVD. It is the first Direct-to-DVD films being planned in a series about the Disney Fairies, the newest Disney Franchise. This is not your typical straight to DVD release. The Tinker Bell DVD is way above the recent other movies released by Disney. It is not in the same league as Toy Story or Cars, but nonetheless the Tinker Bell movie will be enjoyed by those who matter most to us, our children.
Unfortunately, there has been some negative online comments about the Tinker Bell DVD, but do not believe everything you read and I suggest getting the movie and watching it for yourself and then deciding. Below are some extras that also come on the DVD in addition to the film:

That is my take on the new Tinker Bell the movie DVD. It is definitely the best direct to DVD movie release from Walt Disney in a very long time, if ever.
